Central Arkansas Water visited Maumelle High skilled trades class this week for their first co-teaching opportunity within the Academies. Four field experts share their stories about their career path with CAW. Students worked with guidance from these experts on reassembling water meters based on diagrams. Students also learned how to use the leak detection equipment. Thanks for the visit, Central Arkansas Water!

During the school year, MAUMELLE HIGH has the opportunity to have TWO students represent our school and student body at the monthly Board of Education meetings. Last night, junior Camryn Ford represented our school at September meeting. We're so thankful for her hard work and willingness to represent the Hornets. Way to go, Camryn! Our next rep will be in January.

STEM is LIT! is an initiative to expose students to STEM experiences by aligning “challenges” to literary works. All of our challenges are adapted to grade levels and include alignment to various STEM standards and English Language Arts standards. #pcssdproud #serveall
The Maumelle High School Cheer Team is proud to host a mini-cheer camp for students in grades Pre-K4 through 6th grade. The mini camp will be held on Saturday, September 23 from 9 a.m. until noon. Campers will have the chance to perform at the home football game on Thursday, September 28.
