Archery tryouts are October 2 and 3 after school at Crystal Hill Elementary. Permission slips are available in the middle school office and must be turned in by Friday, September 29. The first 40 permission slips turned in will be allowed to tryout. A bus will take students who are trying out. Parents must pick up students at 5:45 at the back of Crystal Hill Elementary. Peace Week is next week, September 17-24. There are a few different events that PBIS is hosting:
Art Contest - Students will illustrate the theme "Make Peace our 'Natural' State"
Essay Contest - We will use the advisory period on Monday to start on these. More information on the prompt and advisory guidelines will be sent out later this week.
Peace Week Pledge - The art department will create banners for students to sign during their lunch periods next week. We will display these in the halls later next week.
Entries for both the art and essay contests must be submitted to the front office by Wednesday, September 20 at 4 p.m. to give our judges plenty of time to pick the winners. The top 3 entries in both contests will receive a prize! Go Stingers!!!
