We're so thankful for all our volunteers at PCSSD! Unfortunately we are unable to host our annual volunteer banquet this year. But we are still so appreciative for every hour dedicated to helping our students grow! #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

Arkansas Activities Association extended the "COVID-19 Dead Period" for all AAA member schools through May 30, 2020. This means that all teams are not allowed to practice, lift weights together, play games, or travel to competition. Athletic facilities are also closed. Spring sports competition remains suspended.

RMS (AMI- Alternatibe Methods of Instruction)
Get & Go Packet Procedures for AMI Pick- Up
Date: April 9th- 11th
Note: Please remember to follow the CDC guidelines and practice safe distancing.
Drive into the bus lane in the front of the school.
Before exiting your vehicle make sure there are no more than four (4) people in line near the container waiting to retrieve documents.
Grab a pair of gloves from the box on the metal cart
Underneath the awning near the front doors is a Large Wooden Storage Container.
Inside the wooden container are the hard copies of student AMI packets in plastic containers that are labeled by grade level and subject for Math, English, Science, and Social Studies.
Additionally there are containers labeled Music (Band and Choir), Art, and Business (Keyboarding, CTE, Robotics, and EAST Lab).
Please make sure that you retrieve one packet from each container specific to your individual child. How can my child submit their work once it is completed? It is our preference that your child takes a picture of the completed document and email it to your designated teacher. This can be done via cellphone or other devices. If this is a difficulty please contact your teacher.
Thank you!

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS FOR AMI INSTRUCTION: We understand that many families may experience challenges in scheduling. The most important expectation is completing and submitting assignments as close as possible to when they are due. Teachers will offer digital face to face lessons with students 2-4 days per week. Students should make an effort to attend live instruction. Sessions will be recorded. This is National Assistant Principals Week. Thank you to Joe T. Robinson Middle School Assistant Principal Bobbie Banks. In her free time, Mrs. Banks enjoys photography, competitive sports, and spending time with family and friends. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

The Maumelle Fire Department is turning to Facebook to show students and families some of their equipment this morning! Firefighters are broadcasting at 10 a.m. and will display their state-of-the-art firetrucks, gear, and the firehouse. It is a great opportunity for students to learn about their community and those who serve and protect everyday. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence
