Ms. Hampton's senior English classes participated in a fish bowl exercise in class this week. It was an opportunity for all voices to be heard, but they had to take turns! The inside row could speak freely, but the outside row was to observe and annotate. Then they swapped places. The conversations were deep and meaningful, and we love seeing our students participate in discourse about their learning.

Mr. Thompson had his students outside this week so they could identify and discuss the biodiversity in the ecosystem of MUSHS. In this lesson, students identified and analyzed producers/autotrophs and decomposers/heterotrophs. Ask your students if they can identify autotrophs and heterotrophs both near the school and around the central Arkansas area!
