Did you know our Mills Middle School Comets can sing and play (various instruments) well? Our music department is thriving and we thank Ms. Rounds, Ms. Cojocaru, Mr. Cross (not pictured) and Mr. Cooper (not pictured) for inspiring our comets to soar with sound! These pictures are from our last concert of the year. Unfortunately, we didn't get pictures of our band(s), but everyone that came to our May spring concerts will tell you that these scholars knocked it out the park! Can't wait to see what 2024-2025 will bring!! #thebestisyettocome #millsmiddleschoolcomets #musicislife #thearts #choir #orchestra #band

Mills Middle School Rising 6th Grade Feeder Transition Camp ended last Friday with a field trip to the University of Central Arkansas. Unfortunately all of our transition camp participants were unable to attend. However those who did had a wonderful time. Scholars engaged in an interactive BEAR activity, toured the campus and dined in the cafeteria. Due to our positive scholar response we may consider ending transition camp with a college visit from now on. Transition camp continues to be a wonderful opportunity to build relational capacity among peers, learn campus rules, rituals, and routines, engage in both enrichment and intervention activities, have fun and prepare for the transition to middle school. We're looking forward to a blazing comet new year! #millsmiddleschoolcomets #thebestisyettocome #pcssdproud #letsgo
