MILLS MIDDLE hosted its first ever student-run college fair yesterday. AVID students created presentation boards to showcase different types of colleges and universities. It was a great project to research secondary education, practice group work and improve presentation skills. Great work, scholars!

Recently MILLS, ROBINSON and SYLVAN HILLS MIDDLE schools attended "GPS" (Girls Power in STEM) at UCA. These 8th graders experienced various aspects of STEM from leading women in the fields of study. Special thanks to the event keynote speaker, Sara Ruane, Assistant Curator of Herpetology at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, for taking a picture with our students.
